Create a Green Dashboard with Manus.im

A Soft Launch with Manus.im

Greta logo.

See the AI agent Manus.im in action making my new Green Dashboard. It features a Greta Point system for calculating your virtue-signaling score—because the game loop is simple: extinction or survival. I hope Greta approves.

Built in 10 Minutes, Prompted in 2

Semi-seriously, I built the site in just 10 minutes using this new agentic AI content generator. Two minutes to prompt, ten to produce. It works, more or less. That said, it can’t yet generate embedded graphics. That’s unfortunate. The AI test ends here—grade: C. To enable real linked data, you’ll need a paid account at $49 a month. I see your setup, Manus. If you want a proper review, Julia McCoy’s review.

What It Does Well: Data Sourcing

Manus.im can source data like a beast. At the bottom of the dashboard, there’s a flood of references. I was hoping for a layered, structured format where you could check the math and verify the source. If AI had more memory or token access, it could parse that volume and give real-time approval or denial of accuracy.

If you’re interested in building your own Green Dashboard, I’ve already laid the foundation for you.

What I’m Really Asking For

One site to rule them all.

A global dashboard with verifiable links, like the brilliant U.S. Debt Clock.

Useful metrics. Real-time data. Something that actually tells us what’s going on—visually, functionally.

That’s not just information design. It’s graphic design at scale in a TMI world.

The Trust Problem

How are we supposed to steer this planet without a dashboard? And with the people we’ve left in charge? No wonder they crashed the economy.

Isn’t that the real issue?

This is all a massive trust exercise.

Personally, I prefer trust-less systems—where the data speaks, and no one gets to fudge the numbers.

A Nod to Greta

Sorry, Greta. You mean so well.

Here’s a small gesture in support of your efforts to save us from climate disaster.

MY PROMPTS

Make a dashboard as a WordPress page that gives the scientific modeling of factors affecting global warming called the Green Dashboard. Include population scenarios and link the page back to source data. Provide a metric called Greta Points that increase when Earth’s survival time goal is extended by green technology actions. Have a nice icon of Greta Thunberg as a project icon. It’s a Green Dashboard, similar to the US Debt Clock.

I have a WordPress site https://ericksong.com. I have a blog page and can write a blog as a first version introducing the Green Dashboard. I use Elementor Pro for web design. I’m sure I can create a link within the blog that will display a WordPress version of the green dashboard. Please advise as to the best method.

As to function, having real-time data when available is vital to dispel mistrust in green initiatives being fakes for political gain. When no free sources exist, a range of values can be set up and displayed as synthetic values. I would like to center population metrics as the variable showing with graphics how earth’s population affects outcomes. An optimization problem game will be set up where the viewer chooses low, medium, or a fully populated planet with both advantages and risks realized. For example, as a zero population would have the lowest pollution, the risk would be human extinction.

As to the graphic style of the dashboard, can we have it in Dark Mode?

The color palette of the elements can have green and blue-themed colors. For negative items, such as a poor result, red or red-orange elements can be chosen.
